Job Title: Client-Facing Data Scientist (Marketing & Market Mix Modelling)

About the Role
The company is seeking a Dutch-speaking, client-facing Data Scientist to join its growing analytics team. This role focuses on delivering data-driven insights for commercial and marketing stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on marketing analytics and Market Mix Modelling (MMM).
The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations that inform marketing strategy, budget allocation, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve Market Mix Models to measure marketing effectiveness across channels
- Work directly with clients to understand business challenges and define analytical approaches
- Translate model results into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Present findings to marketing teams, commercial leaders, and senior stakeholders
- Analyse marketing data including media spend, sales, pricing, promotions, and external factors
- Collaborate with internal data science, engineering, and consulting teams
- Support scenario planning, forecasting, and optimisation of marketing budgets
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong academic or professional background in data science, statistics, econometrics, or a related field
- Proven experience in Market Mix Modelling or advanced marketing analytics
- Proficiency in Python and/or R (SQL experience is an advantage)
- Solid understanding of marketing channels (digital and offline)
- Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and confidently
- Fluent Dutch, both written and spoken, with professional-level English
- Experience in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing role
Nice to Have
- Experience in consulting, analytics advisory, or agency environments
- Knowledge of causal inference, time-series modelling, or Bayesian approaches
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working with large and complex marketing datasets
