Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 Annually
Job Summary:
The Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a senior HR partner across multiple operating companies, with responsibility for supporting employee success, organizational design, leadership effectiveness, and cross-functional collaboration. Acting as a key advisor to the Chief People Officer, this role leverages organizational insight and hands-on execution to help align people, structure, and culture in support of business performance and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization and develop a thorough understanding of each operating company's business, culture, and operational needs
- Act as a trusted advisor by proactively identifying and addressing risks related to employee engagement, performance, burnout, retention, and workforce effectiveness
- Partner with leaders to address employee challenges and escalate systemic issues with clear recommendations
- Lead organizational structure design, maintain job descriptions, and oversee organizational charts across all business entities
- Ensure clear definition and alignment of roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority across the organization
- Identify organizational gaps, operational inefficiencies, and workforce needs, and recommend and implement solutions to improve effectiveness
- Diagnose and improve breakdowns in communication, decision-making, and team interactions
- Partner with leaders to strengthen ways of working and drive alignment across functions
- Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure clarity from leadership to employees
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on team effectiveness, performance management, and organizational change initiatives
- Own leadership development strategy, including training, coaching, and capability building
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Chief People Officer on organizational health, workforce trends, and potential business risks
- Deliver monthly reporting on organizational changes, workforce trends, and key risks
- Prepare executive and board-level materials as needed
- Support operating companies through regular on-site engagement, requiring approximately 50% travel to locations across Arizona, Nevada, and Kentucky
Qualifications
Required:
- 8–12+ years of Human Resources experience, including experience in HR Business Partner, Organizational Effectiveness, or related strategic HR roles
- Strong experience in organizational design, leadership coaching and support, and navigating complex organizational structures
- Proven ability to build trust and influence at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to support HR operations, reporting, and workforce management
