About the Role
We are looking for an early-career HR professional who wants to build a long-term career in field-based Human Resources. This role is designed as a developmental pathway into a full HR Business Partner position, offering hands-on exposure to real-time restaurant operations, people leadership, and business partnership.
You will support a defined market of restaurant locations, working closely with Operations leaders to drive hiring, retention, training, employee relations, and team member engagement. This is not a desk-based HR role. You will spend the majority of your time in the field, partnering directly with leaders and teams where the work happens.
What You'll Do
• Support a small market of restaurant locations alongside Operations leadership
• Partner with Area Directors and General Managers on staffing, retention, and team development
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training execution
• Help drive hourly and management recruiting efforts within your market
• Support employee relations needs with guidance from senior HR leadership
• Monitor key people metrics such as turnover, staffing levels, and engagement
• Identify trends in the field and recommend practical solutions
• Participate in HR projects related to training, culture, and process improvement
• Build strong relationships with restaurant teams through consistent in-person presence
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in HR, operations, hospitality, retail, or other people-focused roles
• Strong desire to build a career in field-based Human Resources
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
• Willingness to spend the majority of time in restaurants supporting teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to take feedback, learn quickly, and continuously develop
• High level of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
• Willingness to relocate within approximately 12 months as future growth opportunities become available within Flynn Group
What Makes This Role Different
• Direct exposure to business operations, not just HR theory
• Hands-on development with a clear path into future HR Business Partner roles
• Opportunity to make an immediate impact on team member experience and business results
• High visibility with both HR and Operations leadership
• Long-term career growth opportunities within Flynn Group, the world's largest franchise operator, with more than 3,000 locations across 8 brands
