Your opportunity
As Junior Brand Manager Meals, you will play a key role at the heart of brand building. You will build and execute plans, drive campaigns, and bring innovations to life: from first idea to in-store execution.
This is not a sideline role. You will own, lead, and make a visible impact from day one.
This role is ideal for an energetic, hands-on and ambitious marketing professional who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
What you will do
Brand & business ownership
- Support development and execution of brand and category strategies
- Translate consumer, shopper and market insights into concrete actions
- Monitor brand performance through KPIs, portfolio reviews and P&L analysis
- Contribute to business cases and decision-making
Innovation & project management
- Drive and support innovation projects (NPD, renovations, packaging) from concept to launch
- Manage projects in a cross-functional way to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
- Support commercialisation of global innovation for the Dutch market
- Develop compelling customer sell-in materials
Communication & campaigns
- Collaborate with brand communication and media teams and brief and manage agencies to deliver impactful, digital-first campaigns
- Support development of integrated communication and activation plans
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and optimise based on performance
Commercial & in-store excellence
- Work closely with sales and category management on customer strategies
- Support strong retail execution and shopper activation
- Help build compelling stories for key customers (e.g. Albert Heijn)
- Identify opportunities to optimise portfolio and drive growth
Collaboration
- Partner closely with sales, category management, finance, supply chain and international teams
- Build strong relationships across functions to deliver results together
Who you are
- 1–3 years of marketing experience in FMCG, or a fast-paced commercial environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
And most importantly, you are:
- Energetic and eager to learn: you bring drive, curiosity and hunger to grow
- A proactive self-starter (hands-on ‘doener’): you don’t wait, you act and take ownership
- Hands-on and execution-focused: you get things done and follow through
- A strong team player: you collaborate easily and bring positive energy
- Commercially minded and comfortable with data and analysis
- Well-organised with solid project management skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both required)
