Data Scientist
We are working with a leading business consultancy that specialises in guiding financial institutions through digital transformation. They are seeking ambitious individuals to join their comprehensive traineeship program, offering a unique opportunity to kickstart a career in data science within the financial sector.
The Role
- Participate in an 18-month traineeship designed to develop data-driven internal consultants.
- Translate complex business challenges into intelligent data-driven solutions.
- Work on diverse data projects, transforming data into actionable insights, predictions, and process improvements.
- Build and test machine learning models for risk assessment, customer behaviour, fraud detection, and process optimisation.
- Present findings and advisory insights to clients, fostering strong communication and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Gain the opportunity for permanent employment with a key client in the financial sector after successful completion of the traineeship.
What You'll Need
- A completed HBO or WO degree in IT, Data Science, AI, Econometrics, Finance, or a similar field.
- Strong interest in innovation and the financial sector, ready to make an impact with data and AI.
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a eager-to-learn attitude.
- Fluency in Dutch, both written and spoken.
- Residing in the Netherlands.
