The role
As IT Manager, you carry end-to-end responsibility for the continuity, quality, and further development of the platform and the internal IT environment. You lead a team of approximately 10 people, manage external vendors, and act as a trusted sparring partner for the leadership team, the business, and clients alike.
Our client is looking for someone who is technically solid and people-smart in equal measure. Someone who truly listens — to their team, to vendors, to the business, and to clients — and translates those needs into clear direction and decisions.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a diverse IT and platform team (~10 people);
- Own release planning, platform stability, and user communication;
- Manage external vendors and technology partners;
- Translate client and business needs into technical priorities and roadmap input;
- Ensure professional handling of client tickets and internal IT requests;
- Oversee governance, security, compliance, and audit processes.
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's level, with solid experience in IT or SaaS environments;
- Proven background in a product-driven organisation;
- Several years of leadership experience in a technical context;
- An empathic leader who gets the best out of people and navigates stakeholders with ease;
- Strong in vendor management, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication;
- Experience with release management, incident & change management, integrations, and security;
- You combine a pragmatic mindset with an eye for quality and long-term thinking;
- Fluency in Dutch (both spoken and written) — required.
