Our direct client, is seeking a strategic, hands-on, high-energy Vice President of Human Resources to lead people operations. In this role, the selected candidate will oversee a dynamic workforce of 900 employees nationally and coordinate within a larger global team. While the role operates in a global context, the primary focus will be driving and optimizing US-based initiatives for domestic staff while ensuring alignment and synergy across the larger global team as well. This individual will be the architect for domestic compliance, payroll, benefits, and recruitment, ensuring the US foundation is scalable and supportive of growth in the managed services and technology sectors.
Job Title: Vice President, Human Resources
Location: Remote in the United States/Alpharetta, GA. (Up to 25% travel / 3-4 days a month to Alpharetta, Ga.) required.

Compensation
- Base Salary: $180,000 - $200,000
- On-Target Bonus: 10% - 15%
Key Responsibilities
US Recruitment, Payroll, and Benefits
- Direct the recruitment strategy for the 900-person US workforce, focusing on technical field staff and corporate leadership positions.
- Oversee US payroll operations and ensure strict payroll compliance and efficiency across 49 states.
- Design and manage competitive benefits programs tailored for the domestic team.
Domestic Compliance and Risk Management
- Maintain rigorous oversight of US labor laws (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA) and specific payroll compliance regulations across 49 states.
- Ensure compliance with mergers and acquisitions (M&A), overseeing the people-side of organizational transitions and integrations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 12+ years in HR; 5+ years in a senior level role (VP or Director, or related).
- Industry Background: Experience in Managed Services, Field Service, or Technology Deployment is preferred.
- Functional Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of US payroll, payroll compliance, benefits administration, recruitment, and labor laws across 49 states.
- Experience working with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) from a compliance and integration perspective.
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now.
- Experience working for a PE-backed firm (plus)
- Experience working with a global organization (Plus)
