Robert Half's client in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst for a 6 month contract. The Cybersecurity Analyst safeguards the systems, networks, and data against evolving cyber threats. As a key player in the cybersecurity defense, you will identify vulnerabilities, implement robust security measures, and respond effectively to security incidents. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Monitor, detect, and analyze potential security threats in real time.
- Conduct forensic investigations and develop remediation strategies for security breaches.
- Launch incident response protocols in the event of a security compromise.
- Document and continuously update security processes to align with industry standards.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls and protocols.
- Enforce security policies and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address risks and ensure compliance.
- Stay ahead of threats by simulating security breaches to test and enhance our defenses.
- Support security awareness training and initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 2700).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), Microsoft 365, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Familiarity with forensic analysis, malware analysis, and incident response frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP) are a plus but not required.
- Preferred certifications: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
