HR Generalist
Location: Meridian, ID
Compensation: $80,000 – $85,000
Position Overview:
CV Resources is partnering with a growing construction company in Meridian, ID to identify an HR Generalist. This role will support day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on recruiting, employee relations, and policy enforcement. The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Director to support a fast-paced, field-driven environment and ensure HR practices are aligned with company goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for field and corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and drive efficient hiring processes
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, including coaching managers, addressing concerns, and supporting investigations
Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and compliance with employment laws
Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
Support performance management processes, including documentation and employee coaching
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Assist the HR Director with strategic HR initiatives and special projects
Promote a positive and safety-focused workplace culture aligned with construction industry standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or a field-based environment
Strong experience in recruiting and employee relations
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred Experience:
Experience supporting multi-site or field teams
Familiarity with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems
Exposure to safety programs or compliance in construction environments
