A premier advisory firm providing valuation, compliance, and consulting services is seeking a Chief People Officer to lead the transformation of its HR function from transactional operations into a strategic growth driver. Backed by a leading middle-market private equity firm, the company is executing a multi-lever growth strategy through organic expansion, acquisitions, and the build-out of a consulting practice.
The Role:
Reporting to the CEO and partnering with the executive leadership team, the CPO will own the people strategy across the firm's valuation and consulting business lines. This includes talent management infrastructure, performance systems, M&A integration, and the cultural operating model required to attract, develop, and retain the professionals who drive revenue and client delivery.
Key Focus Areas:
- Build talent management, succession planning, and career pathing across professional services practices
- Lead all people-side M&A integration from diligence through post-close
- Implement performance management tied to business KPIs
- Design compensation frameworks aligned with revenue contribution and leadership growth
- Scale HR systems and analytics across a growing, multi-entity platform
What We're Looking For:
- Senior HR leadership (CPO, CHRO, VP HR) in professional services, consulting, or knowledge-intensive advisory environments
- Track record transforming HR from transactional to strategic
- Experience building bench strength and leadership pipelines where talent is the product
- Proven M&A people integration across multiple transactions
- Direct partnership with C-suite, Boards, and PE sponsors
This is a high-visibility seat with direct access to the CEO and PE sponsor. The right leader will shape how the firm builds, develops, and retains the talent that powers its next phase of growth.
