KEY PURPOSE:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process while supporting broader HR initiatives. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, assess, and hire top talent, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and alignment with organizational workforce plans. In addition to recruitment ownership, the role supports onboarding, administration and compliance support for employment-based visa programs, benefits management, and other HR activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for North America, partnering with business leaders to develop hiring strategies aligned to workforce plans.
- Source, attract, and assess top talent using innovative sourcing techniques, competitive market mapping, and proactive pipelining.
- Manage the end-to-end hiring process including interviews, offer development, reference/background checks, and candidate experience.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, support job classification processes, and ensure recruitment practices comply with employment legislation.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, cost-per-hire) to drive continuous improvement.
Immigration & Employment Compliance :
- Oversee H-1B and other employment-based visa processes in partnership with HR leadership and external counsel, including cap registrations and LCA documentation.
- Maintain immigration records, compliance calendars, and Public Access Files.
- Ensure I-9 compliance and employment verification processes.
- Support regulatory reporting and ensure adherence to federal and state employment laws.
Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, documentation, exit interviews, and analysis of separation trends.
- Serve as HRIS super user (SAP SuccessFactors/MyAccess), overseeing data integrity, system updates, testing, and user training.
- Support employee relations matters and guide leaders on HR policies and conflict resolution.
- Partner on compensation benchmarking and market analysis to ensure pay competitiveness and alignment.

Projects and Engagement
- Contribute to HR initiatives and engagement programs that support organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with HR leadership to ensure consistent communication and policy implementation across the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 4+ years of corporate recruitment and/or HR generalist experience, with a preference for experience in corporate retail, consumer goods, or action/sports industries.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, and professional HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience supporting employment-based visa processes (H-1B preferred).
- Strong understanding of full lifecycle recruitment, sourcing strategies, and interview techniques.
- Proficient in using a HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with SuccessFactors/MyAccess is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance requirements.
- Broad exposure to compensation, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information with integrity.
- Proven ability to work flexibly and adapt to change in an evolving business landscape.
