Our client is seeking a
Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join their Security Operations team. This role focuses on researching, analyzing, and providing actionable intelligence on cyber threats, threat actors, vulnerabilities, and malicious activity using both open-source and commercial intelligence platforms. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY.
Starting at $50/hr.
Cyber Intelligence Analyst’s Responsibilities And Duties
- Monitor, research, and analyze cyber threats, threat actors, vulnerabilities, and malicious activity.
- Utilize open-source intelligence (OSINT) and commercial intelligence platforms to gather actionable insights.
- Apply cyber threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies, such as MITRE ATT&CK or the intelligence lifecycle, to assess and report on threats.
- Collaborate with the Security Operations team to identify, track, and respond to potential threats worldwide.
- Create clear, concise intelligence reports and briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Cyber Intelligence Analyst’s Qualifications And Skills
- Professional experience in a cybersecurity role focused on threat intelligence, research, or analysis.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and analytical methodologies (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively within a team environment.
