Job Summary:
The IT Security Analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to protect information systems. This role focuses on safeguarding data, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with security standards across infrastructure and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to regulate access to computer systems and data
- Identify security issues and risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security tools and services
- Develop and interpret security policies and procedures
- Participate in security compliance efforts
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct security awareness training
- Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security technologies
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in IT security
- Experience in infrastructure or application-level vulnerability testing and auditing
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience leading security-focused projects
- Experience working in financial services environments
Required Skills:
- Security engineering and system/network security expertise
- Knowledge of authentication protocols and cryptography
- Application security experience
Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of security policies and compliance frameworks
- Experience with security tools and technologies evaluation
- Training and awareness program development
