Role Overview
Seeking a Senior ML & Data Engineer with strong LLMOps and Azure Databricks expertise to build scalable AI/ML solutions in a banking/insurance environment. This role combines hands-on engineering with stakeholder engagement.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and optimise ML/data pipelines using Python, SQL, PySpark
- Develop and deploy LLM-driven solutions (prompt engineering, LLMOps)
- Design ETL workflows and distributed data processing systems (Spark)
- Work across Azure ecosystem, including Databricks
- Translate business requirements into production-grade data solutions
Must-Have Skills
- Strong in Python, SQL, PySpark, data transformation
- Hands-on with Azure & Databricks (Unity Catalog, Jobs, Pipelines)
- Experience in LLMs, NLP, MLOps/LLMOps
- Solid understanding of distributed systems & system design
- Experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics
Good to Have
- Domain experience in banking or insurance
- Exposure to Azure AI Search
- Strong stakeholder management
