What You Will Do
- Provide hands-on employee relations support, coaching managers on performance, corrective actions, and terminations, while conducting investigations to ensure fair and compliant outcomes
- Partner with HR leadership to interpret multi-state employment laws and company policies, ensuring compliance while fostering a positive employee experience.
- Lead and coordinate onboarding and training programs for new hires and managers across remote and on-site locations, creating a consistent, engaging, and culturally aligned experience.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to drive culture initiatives, engagement programs, and integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions.
- Support performance management by reviewing evaluations, tracking completion, and providing guidance to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with company standards.
- Assist with workers’ compensation administration, conduct exit interviews, analyze HR metrics, and contribute to audits, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance retention and overall employee experience.
What We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) required
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, with strong exposure to employee relations, onboarding, and performance management
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce with knowledge of federal and state employment laws, supporting both remote and on-site environments (e.g., warehouse, pharmacy, or operations settings)
- Strong employee relations, organization, communication, analytical & influence skills with high degree of professionalism.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of workers’ compensation processes preferred
- Professional certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
