Job Title: HR Assistant
Position Type: Full-Time/ Hourly
Hourly Range: $18- 20
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources team in daily operations and administrative functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist with day-to-day HR operations and general administrative support
- Support onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and employee file setup
- Enter and maintain accurate employee data within internal systems
- Set up new user accounts and assist with system access for new hires
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide clerical support to the HR team, including filing, faxing, scanning, and mailing
- Assist in coordinating HR projects such as trainings, meetings, and internal communications
- Respond to employee inquiries and route requests appropriately
- Perform additional administrative and HR-related duties as assigned
COMPETENCIES
- Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong data entry accuracy and information management skills
- Self-starter with a proactive and resourceful mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support various HR functions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1-2+ years’ experience in an administrative-related role
