We are EXIN, an independent certification and accreditation institute specializing in digital skills. We offer a comprehensive solution for certifying professionals in the digital domain and take pride in being part of the Software Improvement Group (SIG). Together, we aim to assist organizations in their transformation efforts. While SIG focuses on assessing and certifying IT processes and technologies, our primary emphasis is on people. Together, we address the interconnected aspects of People, Processes, and Technology.

In 2021, SIG acquired EXIN, an international leader in assessing and certifying IT professionals. This partnership allows SIG and EXIN to evaluate the full spectrum of people, processes, and technology effectively. Although EXIN operates as an independent company with its own growth strategy, we closely collaborate with SIG and leverage cross-selling opportunities.

How we work

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our bookkeeping, reconciliations, and payment processing. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing company and work closely with our Financial Controller to maintain robust financial controls and reporting.

Where you come in & Your contribution

Perform routine bookkeeping tasks, including data entry for sales, purchases, and accruals.
Assist with bank reconciliations and other routine reconciliations.
Process weekly payments and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Support the Financial Controller in preparing monthly management accounts and operational analysis.
Handle basic intercompany transactions under the guidance of the Financial Controller.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Assist in maintaining asset capitalization and depreciation records.
Collaborate with the finance team to optimize financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Exact Online, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Experience with reconciliations and payment processing.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Familiarity with intercompany transactions and asset capitalization is desirable.
