The Opportunity

The People & Culture Generalist supports the execution of talent management, employee experience, performance management, employee relations, and learning initiatives across Thermo Systems.

This role serves as a key partner to the Sr. Manager, People & Culture, and helps coordinate programs that strengthen employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and talent development.

What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities:

Assist with employee relations matters through documentation, case tracking, scheduling, and administrative support.
Support workplace investigations through documentation, meeting coordination, and record maintenance.
Assist with leave administration, ADA accommodation tracking, and return-to-work processes.
Conduct exit interviews and support employee feedback initiatives.
Coordinate performance review cycles, talent reviews, succession planning activities, and promotion processes.
Generate talent development, engagement, and workforce analytics reports.
Support employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives.
Coordinate and/or serve as back up to learning and development programs, leadership development initiatives, and mentorship programs.
Serve as back up to L&D in Administering the Learning Management System (LMS), training assignments, certifications, and learning records.
Support onboarding, orientation, and employee development programs.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with managers, employees, and People & Culture leaders to support development and employee experience initiatives.
Coordinate with external learning and leadership development partners.
Communicate talent program information, timelines, and expectations to stakeholders.
Support change management and organizational development initiatives.

Quality, Process, And Governance

Maintain accurate employee development, performance, and talent records.
Support compliance with company policies and employment practices.
Ensure confidentiality of employee and investigation-related information.
Assist in continuous improvement of talent processes and employee experience programs.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or related field preferred.
3+ years of Human Resources, Employee Relations, Talent Development, Employee Experience, or related experience.
Experience supporting performance management, and employee relations, onboarding, learning programs, employee engagement activities.
Experience facilitating training, workshops, or employee programs preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

Performance management and talent process knowledge.
Employee relations documentation and case management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms, and learning technologies.
Facilitation and presentation skills.
LMS administration experience.
