About the Role

As an (Applied) AI Engineer at the TKH AI Technology Hub, you will act as the vital link between advanced AI technology and business impact. You will consult with TKH’s diverse operating companies to diagnose their challenges, identify high-value AI opportunities, and guide them from concept to deployment.

This is a hybrid role for a technical expert who thrives on interaction. You possess a dual skillset: the technical expertise to build state-of-the-art models and the consultancy skills to define the right use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Convert business needs into technical specifications and feasible AI solutions
Deploy AI/ML models and algorithms for real-world applications
Collaborate with TKH operating companies to understand their needs and implement AI solutions
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production environments
Explain AI capabilities and limitations to non-technical stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Bsc and MSc in AI, or related technical field
5+ years of full-time work experience, ideally within a consultancy, or client-facing role.
Strong programming skills in Python and common AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Experience with computer vision, deep learning, and/or NLP
Proven track record of delivering AI projects in production environments
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Available 3 days a week minimum in our Amsterdam office

Experience with Azure
Dutch speaking (for some clients)
