The role & team

This position is based in Amsterdam. The Junior Financial Administrator will report to the Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Process invoices and settle those with payments
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
Monitor outstanding payables and receivables and follow up when necessary
Support monthly financial closing activities
Prepare basis financial reports and spreadsheets
Help maintain cash flow tracking
Help improve administrative and financial workflows
First point of contact for partner abroad

Must Have Background And Experience Requirements

MBO in Finance, Accounting or a related field
1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting or administration
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting software (preferably Sage Accounting) is a plus

Furthermore, you have:

Strong attention to detail
Good organizational and time management skills
Reliable and discreet with confidential information
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
