PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The CFO is responsible for comprehensive financial oversight and shaping the Group's financial strategy to ensure long-term stability. The role combines responsibility for financial governance at the holding level with the function of a financial competency centre for local CFOs and finance directors across subsidiaries.

AREAS OF IMPACT

– Shaping and executing the Group's financial strategy.

– Overseeing the financial performance and financial health of subsidiaries.

– Recommending investment, capital, and structural decisions to the Management Board.

– Ensuring financial governance, regulatory compliance, and reporting quality across the Group.

– Building a financial competency centre – standardising processes and providing expert support for local CFOs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Strategy & Planning

– Co-creating and implementing the Group's long-term financial strategy.

– Overseeing the Group-level budgeting and forecasting process.

– Analysing financial scenarios and recommending capital allocation directions.

– Assessing the profitability and financial risk of strategic projects and investments.

Group Reporting & Controlling

– Overseeing the consolidation of financial statements of subsidiaries.

– Ensuring consistency and timeliness of financial reporting to the Management Board and Supervisory Board.

– Defining reporting standards and financial KPIs applicable across the Group.

– Monitoring the financial performance of subsidiaries and escalating deviations from plans.

Financial Governance & Regulatory Compliance

– Ensuring compliance with regulatory, tax, and accounting requirements across all jurisdictions.

– Overseeing external and internal audit processes at Group level.

– Managing relationships with auditors, financial institutions, and regulators.

– Overseeing financial risk management policy, liquidity, and hedging.

Group Financial Competency Centre

– Standardising financial processes, tools, and policies across subsidiaries.

– Providing expert support for local CFOs and finance directors.

– Initiating financial synergies and cost optimisation at Group scale.

– Distributing knowledge, best practices, and financial benchmarks across companies.

Collaboration with Management Board & Group Bodies

– Active participation in Management Board, Audit Committee, and General Meeting sessions.

– Preparing financial materials and recommendations for company bodies.

– Supporting M&A, restructuring, and capital transaction processes.

– Representing the Group to external financial stakeholders.

WHAT WE EXPECT

Education

University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field; MBA or professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, CPA) preferred.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior CFO or Group Finance Director role.

Group / Holding

Proven track record in a multi-entity or holding structure; experience consolidating financials across subsidiaries.

Governance & Compliance

Deep knowledge of financial governance, IFRS/local GAAP, tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions, and audit processes.

Strategic mindset

Ability to translate financial data into strategic recommendations; experience supporting M&A, restructuring, or capital transactions.

Leadership & influence

Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to lead through expertise and build credibility with the Management Board, Supervisory Board, and external partners.

Languages

Fluency in Polish and English (business level); additional languages a plus.
