Our client is a well-established international strategic advisory and communications consultancy with a global footprint. We are actively recruiting for a junior/medior Accountant to join their EU Hub in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for finance professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and want to play a meaningful role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across a broad EMEA region.

Please note: This is a temporary role for 3-6 months (possibly longer), so we are looking for someone immediately available and eligible to work in the NL under an agency contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial statements in line with U.S. GAAP and local statutory requirements
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across the region and its business units
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and close deliverables in a timely manner
Provide hands on operational support in Accounts Payable processes
Assist in Order to Cash process

What You Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2-4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Experience in a global, multi-entity environment, ideally with exposure to multi-business unit structures, foreign currency reporting, and coordination across international finance teams
Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency, with a sharp eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
