Responsibilities

Oversee the administration of employee health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Coordinate benefit enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and annual enrollment activities.
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, benefit vendors, administrators, and external partners.
Monitor plan performance, review claims trends, and assist with reporting and recommendations.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits and leave programs.
Keep benefit documentation, plan records, and compliance materials current and organized.
Support benefit-related budgeting, reporting, audits, and continuous process improvements.
Educate employees on available benefit options, eligibility, enrollment procedures, and available resources.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience administering employee benefits programs.
Experience supporting self-funded health plans and 401(k) retirement plans.
Working knowledge of benefit and employment regulations including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and related compliance requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach to employee support.
