Proclinical is seeking a Global Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in Europe. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Dutch regulations, and effective financial planning and analysis. As a key business partner to local and regional leadership, you will provide financial insights to support decision-making while maintaining strong internal controls.

Responsibilities:

Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in line with IFRS and/or Dutch GAAP (RJ).
Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
Oversee compliance with Dutch tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, wage tax, and statutory reporting requirements.
Coordinate external audits and act as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and local authorities.
Maintain robust internal controls and support SOX or equivalent frameworks where applicable.
Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
Support strategic initiatives, investments, and business cases with detailed financial analysis.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and balance sheet items.
Manage local banking relationships and payment processes.
Support risk management activities, including credit risk and financial exposure.
Collaborate with HR, Operations, Sales, and regional finance teams.
Serve as a trusted advisor to local management and regional finance leadership.

Key Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
Strong knowledge of IFRS and international finance regulations.
Experience working in or with European markets, preferably the Netherlands.
Strategic and analytical thinking skills.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
Strong communication skills in English, alongside required proficiency in Dutch.
