HR Coordinator

Pay Range: $22-$26/hour, based on experience

Fully Onsite in Orlando

Estimated Contract Length: 4-6 months

A growing nonprofit organization is seeking an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations during an exciting period of growth and organizational development. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will help provide structure, improve processes, and support employees across a fast-paced and evolving environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working independently, and helping bring organization to a team experiencing rapid growth and change.

Responsibilities

Process offer letters, onboarding paperwork, employment verifications, and HR documentation
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation activities
Serve as a point of contact for employee HR and benefits-related questions
Maintain employee records and HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with benefits administration and employee communications
Support compliance tracking, personnel documentation, and HR processes
Coordinate HR meetings, trainings, and internal communications
Partner closely with leadership to support administrative and operational HR functions
Assist with general people operations and special projects as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of HR coordination, HR administration, office management, or related experience
Experience working within an HRIS platform and maintaining employee records
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Self-starter able to work independently with minimal direction
Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving, and sometimes unstructured environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Previous nonprofit, charter school, or public school experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience
