About the Role

We are a lean, fast-moving startup seeking an HR Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic environment and is energized by the opportunity to make a tangible impact. This is not a role defined by a rigid playbook. You will be joining a small, focused team where processes are actively being developed and your contributions will be visible from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will evolve in line with organizational growth. Initial areas of focus will include:

Support core HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and the maintenance of accurate employee records
Handle sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Serve as a dependable point of contact for employee inquiries, exercising sound judgment in determining when to resolve independently and when to escalate
Coordinate HR programs and initiatives, including benefits enrollment, compliance tracking, and performance review cycles
Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making
Proactively identify process inefficiencies and present well-reasoned recommendations for improvement
Adapt to emerging priorities and take on new responsibilities as the organization scales

Qualifications

Required:

3+ years professional experience, ideally in the technology sector
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with strong organizational discipline
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work with data confidently — extracting insights, identifying patterns, and presenting findings in a clear and accessible manner
A demonstrated history of taking initiative and delivering results independently

Preferred (Not Required):

Prior exposure to HR — through coursework, an internship, or professional experience
Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms such as Workday, Greenhouse, Rippling, or Deel
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
Experience with data tools including Excel or comparable reporting platforms
Comfort and fluency with technology in a professional context; a genuine interest in artificial intelligence and its practical applications is a plus
A desire to pursue a long-term career in HR or People Ope
