Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first and second-level technical support to end users.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Perform system upgrades and patch management.
Set up user accounts, passwords, and permissions in accordance with company policies.
Maintain inventory of IT assets and documentation.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth network and system performance.
Support on-site and remote users as needed.

Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in desktop or IT support.
Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, etc.) are a plus
