We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our human resources function and drive strategic recruitment across our growing organization.
About the Role
The HR Director will oversee all aspects of human resources for Beyel Brothers, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and workforce planning to meet the company's evolving staffing needs across multiple branch locations. This role partners directly with executive leadership to build recruiting strategies, strengthen the talent pipeline, and support the company's continued growth in the crane, rigging, heavy haul, and marine services industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across all Beyel Brothers locations, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for field, operations, and corporate roles
- Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to address current and future staffing needs
- Build and maintain relationships with recruiting sources, trade schools, and industry organizations to strengthen the talent pipeline
- Oversee employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR compliance
- Partner with executive leadership on organizational structure and staffing strategy
- Manage HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment law
- Support compensation, benefits, and retention initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with substantial recruitment/talent acquisition experience
- Experience in construction, industrial, transportation, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus
Compensation
$100,000–$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience
