Job Title: HR Coordinator
Position Overview
The HR Coordinator will serve as a foundational support for the People Operations & Culture function. Reporting directly to the Manager of People Operations & Culture, this role plays a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience across our corporate and retail teams — from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and excited to grow their HR career within a globally recognized creative brand.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment logistics including job postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling for corporate and retail roles
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure candidate records are up to date
- Support the Manager of People Operations & Culture in building talent pipelines and refining job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Facilitate new hire onboarding including I-9 verification, benefits enrollment, system setup coordination, and orientation scheduling
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during their first 30 days to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
- Coordinate offboarding processes including separation paperwork, systems access removal, and exit interviews
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and current employee records in the HRIS system
- Process employment changes such as promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, and leaves of absence
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all North American locations
- Support the preparation of regular HR reports including headcount, turnover, and open requisitions
Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR processes, escalating complex matters to the Manager of People Operations & Culture as appropriate
- Help plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team events, and culture programming that reflect the brand’s creative brand identity
- Support the rollout of Voice of the Employee surveys and assist in communicating results and action plans to employees
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries, enrollment, and life event changes
- Partner with payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of employment changes
- Support annual open enrollment planning and administration
Retail People Support
- Collaborate with store managers at North American retail locations on workforce planning, scheduling support, and HR compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally within retail, fashion, or a consumer-facing brand environment
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (ADP, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of US employment law; familiarity with Canadian employment standards is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity
- A genuine passion for streetwear, fashion, or youth culture is a strong plus
