Eton Bridge Partners has been exclusively retained by a PE-backed multi-site services business operating across Europe to appoint their new Head of FP&A and Strategy. The position will act as the CFO’s right-hand person, combining FP&A leadership, business partnering, strategy execution, performance management, and transformation support. Responsibilities:
- Own FP&A and commercial performance analysis, delivering insights that drive business growth.
- Lead on strategic projects and transformation initiatives, seeing ideas through to successful delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing decisions and challenging conventional thinking.
- Play a central role in developing board and investor materials, helping to craft compelling business narratives.
- Translate operational KPIs into clear financial outcomes, linking performance to revenue, EBITDA and cash generation.
- Support investment case development and value creation initiatives across the business.
- Be hands-on with financial modelling, commercial analysis and complex problem solving to support decision-making.
Candidate Profile
- Educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline; professional accounting qualification advantageous.
- Demonstrable expertise in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance management.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes, strategic priorities and value creation opportunities.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Bring a proactive, independent mindset, identifying opportunities and solutions rather than waiting for direction.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a degree of ambiguity.
