Role: Cybersecurity Analyst

Compensation: $90,000-$105,000 annually, DOE

Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to security threats across the organization's technology environment. This role supports security operations, vulnerability management, identity and access management, compliance efforts, and security awareness initiatives to help protect enterprise systems, data, and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security events across cloud, network, endpoint, and application environments.
- Support incident response activities, threat analysis, containment, and remediation efforts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation of identified risks.
- Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and evaluate security impacts of new technologies and projects.
- Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes, including user access reviews and privileged account management.
- Develop and promote cybersecurity awareness and training programs.
- Assist with cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure infrastructure, applications, Microsoft 365, Azure, and related cloud technologies.
- Participate in vendor and third-party security assessments.
- Prepare security metrics, risk reports, and recommendations for leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, infrastructure administration, or a related IT discipline.
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, and cloud security platforms.
- Experience with vulnerability management, endpoint protection, and security monitoring tools.
- Experience working in a complex enterprise environment preferred.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Knowledge of network, endpoint, cloud, and identity security.
- Experience with incident response, threat detection, and security investigations.
- Knowledge of ransomware, phishing, malware, and emerging cyber threats.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
