Primary Purpose Of Position
The IT Security Professional, Analyst supports the institution’s information security program through risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, and security operations activities. This role emphasizes both proactive and reactive cybersecurity practices, policy development and validation, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to protect institutional data, systems, and research assets. The position reports to the Chief Information Security Officer ( CISO ), assisting with implementing and maintaining security controls, responding to cybersecurity events, supporting governance and compliance initiatives, and promoting security best practices across the university environment.
