About United Imaging Healthcare Europe
United Imaging Healthcare Europe is part of a global high-tech medical imaging company with over 10,000 employees worldwide.
We are rapidly expanding our European footprint, delivering advanced CT, MRI, PET/CT, angiography, radiotherapy, and digital & AI solutions to leading hospitals and research institutions.
About The Role
We are seeking a senior, customer-facing Healthcare IT Infrastructure & Integration Specialist to support United Imaging Europe’s growing business in software, workstations, servers, and AI solutions.
This role will act as the primary technical liaison between hospital IT teams, clinical users, sales, project and service teams, and HQ product experts.
The successful candidate will lead technical discussions with customer IT departments from pre-sales through implementation and after-sales support, ensuring our workstation, post-processing, server-based, and AI solutions are deployed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
This is a critical role for the European Business Unit (EUB) as we build stronger local capability in Europe and reduce reliance on HQ senior experts for customer-facing hospital IT integration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead technical counterpart to hospital IT, PACS/RIS, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital health teams during pre-sales, project delivery, and after-sales phases.
- Assess customer IT environments and define deployment requirements for workstations, servers, software platforms, and AI solutions.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solution designs, including network architecture, server/storage sizing, interface requirements, cybersecurity controls, access management, backup, and system connectivity.
- Support sales and business teams in technical qualification, customer presentations, tender responses, solution clarification, and risk identification.
- Coordinate and support implementation of solutions into hospital environments, including on-premise, hybrid, and connected deployments where applicable.
- Work closely with customer teams and internal stakeholders to enable integration with PACS, RIS, HIS, EMR/EHR, VNA, and other hospital systems using applicable standards and interfaces.
- Lead identity and access integration with hospital IAM/IdP systems, including SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP/Active Directory, and role-based access mapping.
- Support validation, testing, go-live preparation, issue resolution, and escalation management for software and server-related deployments.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including site requirement checklists, infrastructure requirements, interface specifications, deployment plans, and change control records.
- Advise internal teams on customer expectations related to hospital IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, network policies, user permissions, and implementation workflows.
- Train and guide sales, project, and service teams on hospital IT topics relevant to United Imaging solutions.
- Serve as the European technical face for software/server/AI infrastructure topics and collaborate with HQ R&D, product management, and service experts on escalations and product improvement feedback.
- Contribute to standardization of EUB deployment practices, technical playbooks, and customer-facing infrastructure documentation.
