Job Description/Responsibilities
As the
HR Generalist for The Glenmore Distillery, you will provide onsite human resources support for our team. As a key steward of our company culture, you will serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, delivering professional guidance across all areas of the HR function. In this role, you will help foster a positive workplace environment while supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and employee development initiatives.
This full-time, onsite position requires schedule flexibility, including regular 5:30 a.m. start times two to three days per week.
What You’ll Do
- Support employee and labor relations activities, including grievance administration, workplace investigations, and compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes for hourly and salaried employees.
- Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance administration, corrective actions, and employee relations matters.
- Administer payroll, benefits, leave of absence programs, workers’ compensation claims, and employee recordkeeping while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Develop and support training initiatives, prepare HR reports, and analyze workforce metrics to drive employee engagement, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Required
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 plus years relevant experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and quickly learn new systems and processes
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization
Preferred
- One or more of SHRM/HR certifications
- Prior HR experience in a unionized facility

The annual salary range for this role is
$76,000 - $114,000. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal pay equity considerations.
