Junior IT Control Analyst
- Location: Veldhoven/ Eindhoven
- Duration: 3 months, possibility to extend
- € 4.800 - € 5.400 + 13th month + profit sharing
Introduction to the Role
As a Junior IT Control Analyst, you will be part of a program focused on establishing and implementing an integrated IT control framework. Working closely with experienced colleagues, asset owners, and IT teams, you will help ensure that the organization's IT environment remains secure, compliant, and effectively governed.
In this role, you will contribute to the redesign and standardization of controls while supporting their integration into daily IT and data management activities. You will assist in translating policies, standards, and control requirements into practical operational processes, gaining valuable hands-on experience in security, compliance, and risk management within a complex and dynamic environment.
You will collaborate closely with program stakeholders and security teams across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of controls by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and recurring issues.
- Support awareness initiatives through the development of guidance materials, documentation, and training content.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of IT and Information Security controls as part of the internal control framework.
- Help identify, document, and validate control activities, including evidence collection, control testing, and remediation follow-up.
- Support compliance with Information Security policies, standards, and procedures, including frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Collaborate with asset owners and IT teams to embed controls into day-to-day operations.
- Assist in reporting on control effectiveness, identified issues, and remediation progress.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent working/thinking level, in Information Technology, Information Security, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT, auditing, risk management, information security, or compliance. Relevant internships and trainee positions are also considered.
- Basic understanding of IT controls, information security principles, and risk management concepts.
- Interest in working with control frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar standards. Prior knowledge is advantageous but not required.
- Experience within a complex, international, or technology-driven environment is considered a plus.

Additional Information
Candidates holding certifications such as GICSP, CISM, CISSP, or CISA will have an advantage.
