Vice President of Human Resources
Role Summary
The VP of Human Resources is a strategic leader responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s people strategy. This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, culture, and HR operations aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the overall HR strategy aligned with business objectives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team
- Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
- Drive a high-performance, values-based culture
Talent & Leadership Development
- Oversee talent acquisition strategies for critical and leadership roles
- Build leadership pipelines and succession planning frameworks
- Implement performance management and career development programs
- Strengthen employee engagement and retention initiatives
Total Rewards & Compensation
- Design competitive compensation and benefits programs
- Ensure pay equity, market alignment, and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee annual salary review and incentive planning
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements (US and/or Philippines as applicable)
- Lead HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
- Oversee HR systems, analytics, and reporting
- Manage employee relations and risk mitigation
Culture & Employee Experience
- Champion company values and culture initiatives
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts
- Enhance employee experience across the lifecycle
Qualifications
Must-Have
- 12–15+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
- Proven experience partnering with executive leadership
- Strong background in talent management, organizational development, and HR strategy
- Experience leading multi-country or multi-site HR operations
- Deep knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in both US and Philippines HR environments
- Background in scaling organizations or high-growth companies
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, or similar industries
