Junior Information Security Analyst Duties:The Junior Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting the company’s systems, networks, data, and physical assets. This role will work alongside experienced security professionals to gain basic understanding of Security Frameworks infrastructure, networking, operating systems and contribute to real-world security operations, threat analysis, risk management, and remediation steps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review video footage captured by security cameras, identifying and documenting areas of concern.
- Work collaboratively with department team members to understand how to analyze reports, install and use software, investigate and evaluate risk, and learn about new security products and procedures.
- Engage in researching the latest information technology security trends.
- Review security alerts and events generated by a variety of SIEM Tools.
- Support incident detection, investigation, and remediation activities.
- Track and document open remediation efforts.
- Document security processes, findings, and recommendations.
- Analyze logs from endpoints, operating systems, and applications.
- Assist in the reconciliation of asset inventory and security coverage of FFC primary SEIM tools.

Minimum Qualifications:- High school diploma/GED equivalent required, with plans to pursue schooling in Cyber Security, AI, or an IT related field.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email.
- Strong typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer).
- Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
