Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to protect our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. The candidate will monitor security incidents, identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to cybersecurity events to ensure the safety and integrity of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks, systems, and applications for security threats and suspicious activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and security audits.
- Investigate security incidents and respond to cyber threats in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, and intrusion detection systems.
- Analyze security logs and generate incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve system security and risk management.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of network and application security concepts.
- Experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Technical Skills
- Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls)
- Security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite
- Operating Systems: Windows/Linux
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Cloud security fundamentals (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications are preferred:
- CEH
- CompTIA Security+
- CISSP
- CISM
Experience
- 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network security.
