The HR Specialist supports a broad range of Human Resources and operational administrative functions that contribute to the company's daily business efficiency and organizational growth. This role provides hands-on support across HR operations, recruitment coordination, compliance documentation, and cross-functional administrative processes. Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations, administrative processes, and employee documentation management.
- Assist with employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, employee record maintenance, and documentation coordination.
- Support HR processes such as recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and hiring documentation.
- Assist with performance management coordination, employee communication, and HR process administration as needed.
- Maintain HR records, files, and documentation to ensure accuracy, organization, and compliance.
- Support HR-related compliance documentation, including employee job descriptions, resumes/CVs, training records, and audit-ready records in partnership with QA and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with HR reporting, documentation tracking, and record updates across HR systems and internal processes.
- Support communication and coordination with external HR-related vendors or service providers as needed (benefits, payroll, tax, etc.).
- Provide administrative support for HR initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts.
- Perform other HR-related duties and support tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related fields preferred.
- Internship or prior administrative, HR, recruiting, office coordination, or operations support experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional communication skills with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn new functions and systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Comfortable supporting both structured administrative tasks and evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work onsite in the office three days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in growing a long-term career in Human Resources, Operations, or Business Administration.
- Exposure to recruiting coordination, HR documentation, or compliance-related processes.
- Experience working in a professional services, healthcare, biotech, clinical research, or technology environment is a plus.

Location
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence at the Princeton, NJ office at least three days per week.
