The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the Executive team on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resources Management.
- 7-10 years of HR management skills is required.
- SHRM / HRCI and/or CEBS certification(s) preferred.
- Knowledge of national multi-site retail construction or facilities industry is helpful.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advises senior leadership on best practices in all things HR-related.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, and training to support the organization’s human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resources programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; training and development.
- Primary point of contact with benefits providers, leading the effort to keep benefits plans updated and relevant to employees’ needs.
- Develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management; facilitates new employee onboarding process.
- Manages internal corporate communications portal and leads the Communications Committee.
