We have a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst in our DPA SN GSP team! This role will focus on inventory control, reporting and analysis; logistic costs control and analysis; demand and production volume reporting and analysis; preparation of the costs for 2027. In this role you will work with supply chain and demand teams, as well as with factory controlling teams in the month end close process with clear & concise variance analysis, quarterly forecast & monthly R&O.
Responsibilities:
Demand & Production Volumes Management
- Perform detailed demand volume analysis and conduct monthly alignment meetings with the Demand team.
- Analyse production volumes and ensure alignment for each official forecast cycle (four times per year).
- Prepare presentation materials (PPT) for Supply Chain and Finance forums, clearly explaining assumptions, gaps, and key movements.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment on final volume figures to be submitted in the official forecast.
- Follow up with factories to validate submitted volumes versus expected volumes and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct monthly analysis of actual volumes versus forecast as part of the month-end closing process.
Logistics Cost Analysis & Forecasting
- Perform monthly logistics cost analysis, including detailed review of factory month-end close results.
- Analyse logistics cost actuals versus forecast, identifying key drivers, risks, and variances.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse forecast inputs from C&P, Supply Chain, and factories.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of logistics cost assumptions prior to submission into the forecast.
Inventory Performance Monitoring
- Conduct monthly inventory analysis, focusing on key movements, risks, and performance versus targets.
- Prepare clear and structured inventory presentations (PPT) for management review.
- Share inventory insights with budget holders, ensuring transparency and alignment on actions.
ABOUT YOU
- You have a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field, required.
- You have a minimum 2 years of cost accounting experience in a logistics environment, preferred.
- You have strong Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), required. ERP Systems experience (SAP preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in Power BI, including reading reports and extrapolation data in Excel from it.
- You have solid interpersonal, analytical and technical skills, required.
- You have the ability to communicate complex accounting information verbally and in writing, required.
- You have strong attention to detail, possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt and be flexible, required.
