Position Title: Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to support enterprise-wide information security risk assessments within a dynamic and regulated environment. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in IT risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance who thrive in cross-functional settings.
You will play a key role in evaluating security risks, collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party providers, and ensuring alignment with industry standards such as NIST, COBIT, and FFIEC. The position offers strong exposure to financial services security frameworks, governance processes, and modern risk assessment tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and execute annual information security risk assessments across systems, applications, and business processes
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and lead evidence collection and risk analysis activities
- Coordinate risk assessment efforts with third-party service providers and internal teams
- Prepare and maintain risk documentation, reports, and executive-level summaries
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks (NIST 800-30, NIST CSF, COBIT, FFIEC CAT)
- Track remediation activities and support risk mitigation planning
- Utilize tools such as Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel, and Power BI for reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, compliance, audit, and IT operations
Required Skills/Education:- 5–7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or IT Risk Management
- Proven experience performing information security risk assessments and risk analysis
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST 800-30, NIST CSF, COBIT, FFIEC)
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred)
- Solid understanding of information security principles, governance, and compliance
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with Confluence, Azure DevOps (ADO), Excel, and/or Power BI
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
