This position will be based in Dayton, with travel to the Twin Cities on occasion. Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Cyber Security Specialist to join our on-site team in Dayton, OH. The Cyber Security Specialist will oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of cyber security measures to safeguard GHI’s network, applications, and sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
· Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization’s data, systems, and networks.
· Troubleshooting security and network problems.
· Responding to system and/or network security breaches.
· Ensuring that the organization’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls in accordance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC guidelines.
· Participating in the change management process.
· Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
· Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cybersecurity, Application Security, and Information Security
- Expertise in Network Security protocols and practices
- NIST 800-171 and CMMC requirements
- Experience in identifying and mitigating risks within cybersecurity frameworks
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in cyber risk management
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to act quickly in response to cyber threats
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
- U.S. citizenship required due to contractual obligations, with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
