Role Description
The Cyber Security Specialist will oversee and enhance the security of GoHypersonic Inc.’s systems and data. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining application and network security protocols, conducting risk assessments, developing and enforcing internal cybersecurity policies, and responding to security incidents. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dayton, OH.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Application Security and Information Security.
- Proven knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity and Cyber incident response.
- Solid understanding of Network Security, NIST 800-171, CMMC and related requirements.
- Experience implementing and monitoring security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risk and vulnerabilities effectively.
- Familiarity with defense industry standards and protocols is a plus.
