At a glance
As a Data Scientist trainee, you will learn how to translate business challenges into predictive models and AI/(Gen)AI solutions that enable better (and more proactive) decision-making and can automate parts of banking processes. You will become well-equipped to store, clean and explore large datasets, identify valuable insights, and build and operationalize models while running data science projects from end to end. You’ll join a community of motivated data professionals where learning, growing and making impact go hand in hand. With this Traineeship you will take the first step in your career as a data scientist to develop yourself personally and professionally!
Your Job
- Translate business challenges into data questions and turn functional/technical requirements into tangible analytics and AI solutions
- Research, develop and improve statistical, machine learning and (Gen)AI models—and know when a simpler approach is the best approach.
- Conduct data experiments across varied datasets (e.g., products, transactions, channels, customers) and validate outcomes with the right evaluation methods.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, DevOps and product stakeholders to design, build and deliver solutions that can be adopted in the business.
- Build and improve processes and tooling to monitor model performance, data quality and accuracy, enabling reliable decisioning at scale.
- Help build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines (feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring), focusing on reproducibility, scalability and MLOps best practices.
- Practice the art of storytelling through numbers: visualize insights effectively and communicate results and statistical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and end-users.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by automating existing deliverables and proposing ideas that improve technical, data or business outcomes.
