Job Title: Specialist Employee Relations
Type: Contract/ 3-12 months
Contractor Work Model: Remote – offsite
Responsibilities
- Support employee relations matters across the organization, including resolving Tier 1 cases and leading Tier 2 investigations.
- Partner with managers to address performance, conduct, and workplace concerns ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
- Assist in ER data tracking, trend analysis, and reporting to promote a positive, compliant workplace culture.
- Collaborate with frontline managers and HRBPs to resolve employee issues and build trust and credibility.
- Support investigations involving employment law fundamentals such as EEO, FMLA, and ADA; conduct interviews and maintain detailed records.
- Manage multiple ER cases simultaneously, ensuring timely follow-up and appropriate escalation when necessary.
- Contribute to training or onboarding initiatives related to employee relations best practices.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of HR experience, including exposure to employee relations and compliance.
- Proficiency in ER case tracking systems (e.g., ServiceNow, HR Acuity, EQS).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coaching and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines, with attention to detail.
- Experience supporting training and onboarding of managers on ER practices preferred.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience in a multi-site or operational environment (e.g., retail, logistics, manufacturing) preferred.
