Confidential – Executive Assistant (Contract)
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Duration: 90 Days (Potential for Contract-to-Hire)
Overview
A growing, private equity-backed organization is seeking a Contract Executive Assistant to provide immediate support to senior leadership during a transition period. This role is highly execution-focused and will play a critical part in ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and can step in with minimal ramp-up time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage executive calendars, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for leadership
- Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials (including slide decks)
- Support general administrative functions across the leadership team
- Assist with communication and coordination across internal teams and external partners
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-up on key initiatives
- Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or high-level administrative role
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience creating presentations and reports
- Ability to work independently and operate with a high sense of urgency
Preferred Experience
- Experience in private equity-backed, startup, or high-growth environments
- Exposure to operations, construction, or service-based industries
- Familiarity with tools like Canva or similar design platforms
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
- Standard business hours (flexibility between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
