Pay: $55,000 -$65,000 Annually; It will start out as 3 month CTH with the first 4 weeks @ 20hours per week to see if you can do the work and be mentored by Security Manager. Then Fulltime 40hrs per week. Remote and only required to be onsite in Grand Rapids 4-6 times in a year for a couple of days. Candidates MUST BE US CITIZEN OR Green Card.
CBTS is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill a role as a Security Analyst Level I. This is an entry level role with a minimum of 1 year of Security experience up to 3 years of experience as a Security Analyst. Security Analyst are needed to support onsite Security initiatives within our corporate environment. This is an Entry Level Position, and it requires either US Citizenship or Green Card. We prefer this candidate to be as close to Grand Rapids, MI as possible. You will be asked to report to the Grand Rapids office 4-6 times a year.
Job Responsibilities:
- IDS monitoring and analysis, analyze network traffic, log analysis, prioritize and differentiate between potential intrusion attempts and false alarms.
- Create and track investigations to resolution.
- Compose security alert notifications.
- Advise incident responders in the steps to take to investigate and resolve computer security incidents.
- Collect Firewall Logs and analyze log information for any suspected intrusion attempts, DDOS or other Security issues.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity with 1 year of professional experience in security working with Firewall log analysis experience or 5 years of hands-on experience and either a Security + or CYSA+ Certification
- Previous experience working on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC) or a Security Operations Center (SOC). Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability Assessment tools and other security tools found in large network environments; along with experience working with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions.
- Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as network and host assessment/scanning tools, network and host-based intrusion detection systems, and other security software packages.
