Role Description
The HR Specialist (Contract) will provide comprehensive support in executing HR processes and initiatives. Responsibilities include managing recruitment efforts, onboarding new employees, maintaining compliance with employment laws and policies, and assisting with employee engagement activities. This role will also involve handling employee records, coordinating training sessions, and conducting HR administrative tasks. This is a 3 days per week, on-site contract role located 20 minutes outside of Boston for a growing biotech client.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and regulations
- Ability to create and implement staff training programs
- Experience with talent management and employee engagement strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus
