What you’ll do
- Support second line of defense oversight across IT, cybersecurity, and data risk frameworks
- Review and challenge first line risk assessments, controls, and remediation activities
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing risk policies, standards, and governance frameworks
- Contribute to risk reporting, including preparing materials for senior management and committees
- Partner with stakeholders across risk, technology, and cybersecurity teams to drive effective risk management
What you’ll need
- 3+ years of experience in IT risk, cybersecurity, audit, or technology risk within financial services
- Strong understanding of risk management concepts (RCSA, controls, issue management)
- Working knowledge of technology and cyber domains (e.g., SDLC, cloud, IT governance, data management)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or COBIT
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills; relevant certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC) preferred
